GMC Trucks
Max Grabowsky and his Rapid Motor Vehicle Company produced a one-cylinder truck
in 1902. The company would become a building block for General Motors
in 1908. By 1912, the GMC Truck nameplate would appear, which would
be the beginning of a tradition of heavy-duty, powerful GMC trucks
and vans.
GMC trucks have endured with names like the Sonoma, the Sierra, the
Jimmy and the Yukon. GMC looks to the future with two high-end SUVs,
the GMC Yukon Denali and the Envoy.
