Isuzu Motors Limited first began manufacturing Japan's first cars. Isuzu since has brought buses, diesel engines and off-road vehicles to Japan. By 1948, Isuzu became a top diesel engine maker in Japan, a position it still holds.

In 1987, Isuzu began its American truck distribution American Isuzu Motors Inc. Isuzu issued the Rodeo and the Trooper with much success and praise.

Today Isuzu also features the Hombre compact pickup truck, the Amigo mini SUV, the Isuzu Rodeo, the Trooper and the Isuzu VehiCROSS.
