Nissan Cars
The Jidosha Seizo Company was founded in 1933. They went to work designing and manufacturing passenger cars under the name Datsun, beginning with the Type 15 in 1937. Datsun cars were then being exported by 1958.
In 1960 the Nissan Motor Corporation was established in America, and in 1981, all exported Datsun cars carried the Nissan nameplate.
Nissan cars such as the Pulsar, the Stanza and the Nissan 300ZX got
the company recognized in the U.S. Today the Nissan Altima, the Sentra,
the Maxima, the Pathfinder and the critically acclaimed Nissan Xterra
have pushed Nissan cars to the forefront in sales in the U.S.
